Nonconcurrent Forces

With nonconcurrent forces, the resultant of a system of forces both considers the individual forces as well as generated moments.

$\overrightarrow{R}=\sum \overrightarrow{F}$
$M_O=\sum (Fd)=Rd$
Replace the forces with an equivalent force and moment at the point of interest $O$.
Sum up the moments to find $M_O$.
Sum up the forces to find $R$.
Move the resultant $R$ a distance $d$ away from the point of interest $O$.
